Our trip from MI to PA was fairly uneventful.  Many thanks to everyone who was praying for us.

I got a small U-haul trailer that we pulled behind our wonderful van, and I must say that I was pretty tickled with how well it got packed.  Other than the lights going out somewhere during the trip, the trailer worked very well for us.  I didn’t bother trying to back up anywhere (just hogged up about 6 parking spaces at McDonalds), so I didn’t have to worry about that.

We did have a couple of sick kids on the trip and Mom wasn’t feeling all that great either.  But Katherine (the cousin who came to help us with the drive) was a real trooper and helped to clean everything up without complaint.  Thank you ever so much, Katherine!!!

We left about 8:30 in the morning and arrived around 9:30 at night.  It was a long trip and I was quite tired till we arrived, but I managed to find enough energy to make a quick trip up to my house and check it out.  Amazing progress.  I can’t believe how many people want to help with this project.  Thanks again!

  • Glad to hear that you all arrived safely.
It is wonderful to see how things are progressing at your house.
We all arrived back here safely as well.
Thanks for the good visit. Blessings to you all. Gram E.

  • Wish we could come and help too. love the half wall. We just put in one like it between my office and the play room we build for the new kids we will be getting so I can see them at all times. I guess great minds think alike. Last week someone was asking how you would keep an eye on the little ones while the bigger ones were doing school. I said that my guess was that you would put in a half wall. Well, it looks great. love and prayers from all us Abbott’s
