Our trip from MI to PA was fairly uneventful. Many thanks to everyone who was praying for us.
I got a small U-haul trailer that we pulled behind our wonderful van, and I must say that I was pretty tickled with how well it got packed. Other than the lights going out somewhere during the trip, the trailer worked very well for us. I didn’t bother trying to back up anywhere (just hogged up about 6 parking spaces at McDonalds), so I didn’t have to worry about that.
We did have a couple of sick kids on the trip and Mom wasn’t feeling all that great either. But Katherine (the cousin who came to help us with the drive) was a real trooper and helped to clean everything up without complaint. Thank you ever so much, Katherine!!!
We left about 8:30 in the morning and arrived around 9:30 at night. It was a long trip and I was quite tired till we arrived, but I managed to find enough energy to make a quick trip up to my house and check it out. Amazing progress. I can’t believe how many people want to help with this project. Thanks again!
